Director for the DACH Region (German, Austrian and Swiss clients in Poland) with German language

BNP Paribas is the leading bank in Poland by coverage of Multinational Clients. Being an integrated part of the BNP Paribas Group and based on the strong market position of BNP Paribas in more than 60 countries worldwide including Poland the bank is following a further international growth plan. In order to further strengthen its position in the DACH Region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and to facilitate further growth we are looking for an experienced coverage banker for the Warsaw Headquarters who will manage the cooperation corridor between the Polish and the DACH franchise of the bank and focus on inbound business with DACH corporate clients in Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of country strategies aimed at further growth of corporate business and cooperation between the bank network
  • Managing promotion and marketing activities of BNP Paribas Polska within the BNP Paribas network in the DACH countries
  • Origination of business leads with new and existing clients in cooperation with the Global Relationship Managers in the DACH countries and the Local MNC Relationship Managers in Poland
  • Active participation in product sales processes, in particular those with x-border character while working closely with product specialists in Poland and the respective country in structuring tailor made solutions for corporate clients
  • Liase with relevant internal teams and other Specialized Metiers both in Poland and in the DACH countries including Legal, Compliance, Lending Advisory, Structured Finance, Global Markets, Global Trade Solutions, Cash Management, Working Capital Solutions, Leasing, Fleet Management and others in origination, structuring and execution/implementation of transactions
  • Participation in cooperation with Global Relationship Managers in dialog at the level of Group Treasurers, Finance Directors and Group CFOs of corporate clients with respect to Polish activities
  • Senior participation in dialog with local CFOs and Treasurers of Polish subsidiaries to support if required local Relationship Managers
  • Structuring of client strategies as member of Local and Global Account Planning and Risk Management processes and joint responsibility for the quality of the loan portfolio
  • Managing x-border alignment and approval processes for corporate clients
  • Close cooperation and exchange with the network of MNC Relationship Managers in Poland
  • Center of Competence for all Poland issues for the DACH bank network and for DACH issues for the Polish network of BNP Paribas

Candidate profile: 

  • University degree. A master’s or postgraduate degree will be appreciated
  • Several years of experience in corporate client-facing role
  • Profound experience in managing relationships with corporate clients (including the key account management model)
  • High competence in establishing new business relationships and acquiring clients and transactions
  • Very good understanding of corporate risk analysis and management
  • Deep product expertise across debt, market risk management, trade and working capital as well as structured finance and leasing
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Openness to frequent business trips (nationwide and to the DACH countries)
  • Interest and ability to work in a complex multicultural environment
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and German, knowledge of other languages ​​will be an advantage

4. Sofern die Einwilligung freiwillig erteilt wurde, können die personenbezogenen Daten auch für künftige Einstellungsverfahren verarbeitet werden.

Als Empfänger Ihrer personenbezogenen Daten können Unternehmen gelten, die die ITInfrastruktur des Verantwortlichen liefern und betreiben; die Unternehmen, für die der Verantwortliche das Einstellungsverfahren führt; sowie die mit dem Verantwortlichen organisatorisch verbundenen Einheiten, darunter insbesondere Deutscher Industrie- und Handelskammertag.

6. Ihre personenbezogenen Daten werden für die Dauer des Einstellungsverfahrens verarbeitet und danach gelöscht. Im Bereich, in welchem Sie den künftigen Einstellungsverfahren zugestimmt haben – bis zum Widerruf der Einwilligung.

7. Ihnen steht das Recht auf: Zugang zu Ihren personenbezogenen Daten, auf Berichtigung, auf Löschung, auf Einschränkung der Verarbeitung sowie auf Datenübertragbarkeit und das Widerspruchsrecht zu.

8. Eine erteilte Einwilligung in die Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten können Sie jederzeit uns gegenüber widerrufen. Der Widerruf der Einwilligung berührt nicht die Rechtmäßigkeit der bis zum Widerruf aufgrund der Einwilligung verarbeiteten Daten.

9. Sie haben das Recht, eine Beschwerde bei der zuständigen Datenschutzaufsichtsbehörde einzulegen.

10. Die Angabe personenbezogener Daten erfolgt freiwillig, ist aber für die Durchführung des Einstellungsverfahrens notwendig.
